do you like game?

konichiwa, minna :D
talk about game, do you like play game? oh maybe like online game, computer game, or on playstasion. game really entertains us, doesn't it? it makes me remember when i was really in a bad mood because of something, then i play playstasion 2. it cheered me up :D

okay here i will write abaout playstasion game. game has several types, sucha RPG, adventure, action, strategy, simulations, fighting, etc. for example: persona, final fantasy, atelier iris, suikoden, ar tonelico, wild arms are kind of RPG game ; spongebob squarepants, donald duck, and anything cartoon usually are kind of adventure game (but for adventure game, you can find 'em usually on NWii) ; tomb rider, bullet witch are kind of action. that was kinda simple example. so you can differentiate 'em yourself, right?

hm well here, i will tell you about several games. ahmm what games should i review anyway? what about RPG game? cause that is my favorite one xD

we start from the famous one, final fantasy. one of its game has the film, like final fantasy VII advent children.
Two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, the survivors of Midgar have begun to build a new city, Edge, on the outskirts of the old metropolis. A strange disease known as "Geostigma" has arisen. After Cloud's showdown with Sephiroth, he has been living with Tifa in Edge. Marlene and an orphaned boy named Denzel have been entrusted to their care. After receiving a message from Tifa, Cloud is attacked by three men, Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo, who believe that he has hidden their "mother". The leader, Kadaj, ends the battle as he discovers that Cloud does not have their "mother". Cloud responds to a message from Tifa, who tells him that the Turks have a job for him. At the meeting place, Cloud discovers that Rufus Shinra is still alive. Rufus attempts to enlist Cloud's help to stop the trio, but fails as he refuses and leaves. Kadaj arrives and demands that Rufus tell him where to find his "mother". It is revealed that his "mother" is Jenova's remains, and is somehow connected to the cause of the Geostigma. The trio are planning a new "reunion" that will culminate in an assault on the Planet.

Loz arrives at Aerith's lodge in an attempt to find Jenova's remains, and is confronted by Tifa. After battling Tifa, he receives instructions on his cell phone to capture Marlene. Kadaj and the gang begin collecting children infected with Geostigma, including Denzel and the uninfected Marlene, and take them to the Forgotten City. Cloud attempts to rescue them but fails, and is quickly defeated, and is then rescued by Vincent Valentine, who reveals to Cloud what the trio is seeking and that it could result in the return of Sephiroth. Cloud agrees to return to Edge and face Kadaj in battle. In Edge, the trio call forth several monsters to attack the populace, including the summon "Bahamut SIN". While Cloud's companions deal with Bahamut SIN, Reno and Rude try to take care of Yazoo and Loz until Cloud arrives. Cloud and his friends are able to dispatch the monsters and Bahamut SIN.

In a nearby building, Rufus reveals to Kadaj that he has been in possession of Jenova's remains all along. He throws the box containing it from the edge of the building. Kadaj dives after the remains and recovers it, but Rufus shoots the box and damages it. Kadaj spots Cloud in pursuit of him, and is followed to the ruins of Midgar. They battle each other in Aerith's lodge. Kadaj destroys the flowerbed, which releases an outflow of Lifestream-infused water that cures Cloud's Geostigma. Kadaj flees to the ruins of Shinra Headquarters, where they continue their fight. Outmatched, Kadaj absorbs Jenova's remains into his body, allowing Sephiroth to be reborn through the Remainant's body. Revealing that once those who die from the Geostigma return to the Lifestream, Sephiroth will be able to control it and use the Planet as a vessel to travel space in search of a new planet for him to rule. After a heated final battle, Cloud defeats Sephiroth as he dissipates with weakened Kadaj at Cloud's mercy. Aerith begins to pour healing rain across Edge, curing the people of their Geostigma. She tells Kadaj to be at rest, who believes her voice to be that of his "mother", and he is taken by the Lifestream. Cloud is then shot by Yazoo in the back. Also succumbing to the healing rain but bent on not going alone, Yazoo and Loz prepare one final blast at Cloud as he charges at them, resulting in a large explosion that engulfs all three.

Afterward, Cloud appears surrounded by a white light, and Aerith and Zack are heard. Aerith tells Cloud that his place is not with them yet, and sends him back. Cloud awakens in a pool of Lifestream-infused water in Aerith's lodge, surrounded by his friends and the citizens of Edge. After curing the Geostigma-infected children, he turns and sees Aerith crouching by some children. As she stands and walks to the doorway, she turns back to ask Cloud if he's all right now, and steps into a white light with Zack with Cloud giving a hopeful smile.

that was short story of FF VII Advent Children :D

okay, this is my favorite one, Suikoden V! didja ever play it before? please, try this one, sure you will like it *thumbs up*

Two years after Lordlake was razed by her Sun Rune, Queen Arshtat dispatches her son the Prince, her sister Sialeeds, and their royal bodyguards Lyon and Georg Prime to inspect the state of the ruined town. The player as the Prince sees the grim state of the dried-up town and report on it, but Arshtat scorns this; she declares that Lordlake's citizens deserve their desolation for stealing the Dawn Rune. Arshtat's husband Ferid pulls her back to her senses, and she dismisses the inspection party with a whisper.

The next issue of contention is the Sacred Games for Princess Lymsleia's hand in marriage, being held somewhat early for the ten-year old Lymsleia. The two main contestants, both representing themselves with a champion, hail from rival noble houses: The foppish Euram Barows, and Sialeeds' former fiance, the charismatic Gizel Godwin. The royal family, however, favors the mysterious outsider Belcoot, as a neutral option less likely to cause strife; the Prince attempts to aid Belcoot quietly with Ferid's approval. However, Gizel successfully rigs the Games to his advantage, and his champion Childerich defeats a drugged Belcoot while the Barow's champion is disqualified.

However, Lord Marscal Godwin, Gizel's father, is less than impressed with Gizel's activities, thinking that he has made an enemy of the Prince and the royal family as a whole with his plotting. Additionally, the royal family took Zegai, the Barows champion, into their own personal custody, who could perhaps help reveal the Godwins cheating and offer an excuse to annul the engagement. Thus, the Godwins launch a preemptive attack at the engagement ceremony in Sol-Falena, Falena's capital. Arshtat and Ferid had anticipated and prepared for the attack, but not the involvement of the elite Nether Gate assassins, who overwhelm the palace's defenses. The struggle culminates in Arshtat and Ferid's deaths, while Lymsleia finds herself a captive. The Prince (whose irrelevance to the line of succession made him the lowest-priority target), Lyon, Georg, and Sialeeds are forced to flee.

The Prince searches first for a sanctuary, then for a way to fight back. He finds both (temporarily) as a guest of the influential noble Salum Barows, Lord Godwin's long-time rival. Salum (with his son Euram alongside) clearly plans to be the senior partner in his alliance with the Prince, but the Prince must take what allies he can find. Reluctantly, Sialeeds suggests bringing in help in the form of the legendary tactician Lucretia Merces, whom the Prince frees from prison. With her intelligence and vast network of contacts, Lucretia finds out that the Barows were behind the theft of the Dawn Rune - an act of high treason. With this revelation, the Prince is able to convince the Barows' allies to join him personally, including even Salum's daughter Luserina. The recovered Dawn Rune picks the Prince as its new bearer, even though the Prince can never inherit the throne.

Lucretia guides the Prince and his army in establishing a headquarters, forging alliances, restoring Lordlake, and winning a long streak of battles. The Godwins crown Lymsleia Queen and claim to fight in her name, but lose the public relations war due to the Prince's resistance, the claims of a coup, the restoration of Lordlake (thus fixing a mistake of Arshtat's rule), and the Godwins' army commanders foolish brutality. The civil war almost comes to a close when Lymsleia takes the field personally, officially due to the Godwin's failure to put down the "rebellion," but actually to be rescued by her brother. The Prince and his forces defeat her bodyguards and find Lymsleia; without Lymsleia, the Godwin's government would collapse. At this juncture, however, Sialeeds defects to Gizel's side, spiriting Lymsleia away and prolonging the conflict. Lyon is seriously wounded, preventing the party from pursuing Lymsleia. Meanwhile, Sialeeds takes up the Twilight Rune, the counterpart to the Dawn Rune held in Godwin territory.

The Godwins enjoy a brief reversal in fortunes with new army levies and an alliance with a faction of Falena's neighbor Armes. However, Falena's normally neutral Dragon Cavalry enters the war on the Prince's side due to Armes' involvement, and the Godwins are driven back once more. Sialeeds ensures that the Prince's forces must capture Stormfist, the seat of Godwin power, and thoroughly erase any possible strongholds of Godwin sympathy. Despite seemingly being affiliated with the Godwins, however, Sialeeds incinerates a Godwin ambush of the Prince's force. Sialeeds later murders Salum Barows in Gizel's name, leaving the whimpering Euram alive with the venomous taunt that the Barows faction will surely fall to ruin with an idiot like him in charge.

Only the capital city of Sol-Falena remains under Godwin control. The battle for it claims the lives of both Sialeeds and Gizel. As she expires, Sialeeds hints at her motives (which her maids confirm, if the player speaks with them later): She knew that, if the Prince had rescued Lymsleia when he first had the chance, things only would have returned to the way they were before, with the same corrupt nobility holding power struggles. The only way, in her mind, to secure the royal family's hold on the Queendom was to prolong the war such that the nobility would be completely and utterly ruined. By doing it in the Godwins' name, the Prince and Lymsleia could be rid of them without getting their hands dirty. As Gizel dies, felled by the Prince in a duel, he declares that Sialeeds was the only real winner. Lord Marscal, the only remaining Godwin, retreats with the Sun Rune to a nearby mountain range, where he meets the Prince in a showdown to prove that the royals can rule without the power of the Sun Rune. He draws the Rune's power into himself for the final battle with the Rune incarnation.

In the ending, Lymsleia re-assumes the throne and dissolves the Senate, though a new representative parliament is created to replace it and advise the Queen. Depending on the player's choices and performance, several endings are possible. If very few optional stars of destiny were recruited, Lyon dies of the wounds she received earlier and the Prince wanders off alone in despair. If most but not all of the stars were recruited, the Prince travels the world with Georg. If all 108 Stars were recruited, Lyon survives. If the Prince chose to be nice when interacting with Lymsleia, he has the further option of staying in Falena and becoming the new Commander of the Queen's Knights, with Lyon by his side.

The Gameplay is kinda unique! well, beside defeat the enemies in party (ala RPG), you can take a war, and duel! its story has many endings, it depends on your choices and the party that you reqruit ;)

Okay, just that maybe. sorry hehe write something like this is really tiring xD

Next time i'll write about the other games *thumbs up* :)

ARIA THE NATURAL

Aria (アリア) is a utopian science fantasy manga by Kozue Amano (天野 こずえ Amano Kozue). The series was originally titled Aqua (アクア) when it was published by Enix in the magazine Monthly Stencil, being retitled when it moved to Mag Garden's magazine Comic Blade.[2] Aqua was serialized in Stencil from 2001 to 2002 and collected in two tankōbon volumes. Aria was serialized in Comic Blade from November 2002 to April 2008 and collected in twelve volumes. The series has been adapted as an anime television series, with a first season broadcast in 2005, a second season in 2006, an OVA released September 2007, and a third season in 2008 that ended around the same time as the manga serialization.[3]

ADV Manga released English translations of the first three volumes of Aria in 2004, before dropping the license. Tokyopop then acquired the rights to publish the English translation of Aqua as well as Aria. The Tokyopop editions of Aqua were released in October 2007 and February 2008, and the Tokyopop version of Aria volume one was released in January 2008, with publication on-going. The anime is licensed in North America by The Right Stuf International, which released the first season, Aria the Animation, as a box set under its Nozomi Entertainment imprint on 30 September 2008.

The series is set in the 24th century on a terraformed Mars, and follows a young woman named Akari as she trains as an apprentice gondolier. The series has been praised for its calm pacing, optimistic worldview, beautiful art, and, for the anime, the quality of the soundtrack.

Story

Aqua and Aria take place in the early 24th century, starting in 2301 AD, in the city of Neo-Venezia on the planet Aqua—formerly Mars, which was renamed after being terraformed into a habitable planet covered in oceans around 150 years ago. Neo-Venezia, based on Venice in both architecture and atmosphere, is a harbor city of narrow canals instead of streets, traveled by unmotorized gondolas.

At the start of Aqua, a young woman named Akari arrives from Manhome (formerly Earth) to become a trainee gondolier with Aria Company, one of the three most prestigious water-guide companies in the city. Her dream is to become an undine, a gondolier who acts as tour guide (see Terms below). As she trains, Akari befriends her mentor Alicia, trainees from rival companies, Aika and Alice, and others in the city. Aqua covers her arrival on Aqua and early training as a Pair, or apprentice, while Aria continues her training as a Single, or journeyman, culminating in the graduation of her, Aika, and Alice as full Prima undines.

Each chapter is a slice of life episode of Akari's exploration of the worlds of gondoliering, Neo-Venezia, and Aqua itself. Amano frequently uses several pages of lush art to depict an environment, showing the wonder of both everyday activities as well as one-of-a-kind events. It has been described by reviewers as very similar in tone and effect to Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō.

Main characters

Akari Mizunashi
(水無 灯里 Mizunashi Akari) Voiced by: Erino Hazuki[9]
A native of Japan on Manhome (Earth) who immigrates to Aqua when she is 15 to become an undine. While not as skillful at rowing a gondola as Alice nor as familiar with the history of her adopted city as Aika, Akari makes friends quickly and easily converses with customers and other strangers. She is depicted as optimistic and cheerful, finding enjoyment in things or events that others think humdrum and mundane, for which Aika and Alice call her "mysterious"; in the anime, Aika and Alice separately comment that Akari seems to attract mysterious phenomena to her. Akari often says hohe or hahi, which is her short version of "wow." When Akari used gondola simulations on Manhome, she accidentally learned how to row backwards and has to relearn the proper method when she starts at Aria Company; however, as Alicia puts it, "When rowing backward, Akari-chan is unrivaled!"
Most chapters of the manga and episodes of the anime are framed with narration taken from e-mails written by Akari; in the anime, the recipient is a young girl named Ai, a customer in the first episode who becomes Akari's pen pal, but in the manga the recipient is never explicitly revealed.
At the start of Aqua, Akari arrives on Aqua as a new Pair (apprentice) at Aria Company. In chapter 5 of Aqua, when Aika is promoted to Single (journeyman), Alicia tests and promotes Akari as well. Later, in chapter 58 of Aria and episode 12 of Aria the Origination, after Aika is promoted to Prima (full undine), Alicia gives Akari the test for Prima. When Akari passes, she is given the title "Aquamarine" (遠い青 Harukanaru Ao, lit. "Distant Blue").
Alicia Florence (アリシア·フローレンス Arishia Furōrensu?) Voiced by: Sayaka Ohara[9]
The only other undine with Aria Company, Alicia is one of the Three Water Fairies of Neo-Venezia, known by the title "Snow White" (白き妖精 Shiroki Yōsei?, lit. "White Fairy"). At the start of the series, she is 19 years old and the most popular undine in the city, noted especially for her graceful rowing style. She was promoted to Prima at 15, the youngest ever to do so. Like Akari, she is relaxed and easy-going, but she also likes to tease others, especially her childhood friend Akira. Her favorite phrase is ara ara ("Well Well") and she frequently giggles, to Akira's annoyance.[14] According to Grandma Akino, she is an excellent undine because of her ability to enjoy everything.[15]
At the end of the series, Alicia announces her upcoming marriage (though to whom is never stated) and retirement to take an administrative position with the Gondola Association. She tells Akari she had put off her Prima exam because she had been planning to retire after that, and did not want to leave her student and friend.[16] According to issue #6 of Monthly Undine, after her retirement, "Snow White" is designated the 8th "honored appellation" by the Gondola Association, as an undine who made great contributions to the industry.
Akino Ametsuchi (天地 秋乃 Ametsuchi Akino?) / "Grandma" Voiced by: Yoshiko Matsuo.[17][18]
A famous and long-serving Prima undine, who started Aria Company with Aria Pokoteng after realizing she was missing too much of life as Himeya's top ace. She was Prima undine for 30 years and mentor to Alicia, her last disciple, to whom she left the company on her retirement. She is highly respected by younger undines, who call her "Grandma".[19]
Ai (アイ Ai?) Voiced by: Kaori Mizuhashi[9]
A girl from Manhome. In the anime, she befriends Akari in episode 1 and becomes Akari's e-mail correspondent, while visiting Aqua whenever she can. In the manga, she first appears in chapter 60 as Aria Company's newest employee. In both versions, at the end of the series she becomes a Pair under Akari after Alicia's marriage and retirement.
Anna (アンナ Anna?) Voiced by: Risa Hayamizu[20]
A retired undine who trained under Grandma Akino, becoming a Prima before Alicia. She left Aria Company shortly after Alicia was promoted to Prima to marry a fisherman named Alberto. She has a son named Ahito, and she began working lace while she was pregnant with him. She lives with her family on Neo-Burano Island.

Himeya Company

Main cast as they appear in the third season of the anime: from left to right, Aika, Akari, and Alice

Himeya Company is the oldest and currently second-ranking water-guide company in Neo-Venezia. It employs 80 undines, with a uniform lined with red. Its president is Hime.

Aika S. Granzchesta (藍華·S·グランチェスタ Aika S. Guranchesuta?) Voiced by: Chiwa Saitō[9]
The first friend Akari makes on Aqua, Aika is 16 when they meet. Aika is a Pair and then Single at Himeya Company. She is the only daughter and heir of Himeya Company's owners, but does not enjoy the distinction as she feels the company's employees fawned on her too much.[21] Aika speaks bluntly and often responds to Akari's idealistic comments with "Embarrassing remarks are not allowed!" (恥ずかしいセリフ禁止! Hazukashii serifu kinshi!?).[22] Despite their contrasting personalities, she gets along well with Akari and Alice, but frequently squabbles with her mentor, Akira, whom she resembles.[23] Aika considers herself reliable, especially compared to distractable Akari and antisocial Alice,[24] but both her friends call her a crybaby for her tendency to tear up when emotional. She is proud of her gondola skill as an undine, and can be very competitive about it. She also greatly admires Alicia, and finds any excuse to visit Aria Company—and once tells Akari that if not for her family obligations, she would have joined Aria Company.[25] Over the course of the series, Aika develops feelings for Al.
In chapter 58, Aika becomes a Prima, taking the title "Rosen Queen" (薔薇の女王 Bara no Joō?, lit. "Queen of Roses"). She takes charge of a newly opened Himeya branch office, in preparation for one day taking on the whole company.
Akira E. Ferrari (晃·E·フェラーリ Akira E. Ferāri?) Voiced by: Junko Minagawa[9]
One of Neo-Venezia's Three Water Fairies, and a native of Aqua. As a Prima undine, Akira is called the "Crimson Rose" (真紅の薔薇 Shinku no Bara?) and is famed for her conversational skills. She has many admirers among her customers, especially her female ones,[26] but she considers herself very feminine.[27] Akira is mentor to Aika, who calls her the Demon Instructor for her strictness and her loud, brusque personality.[28] Akira is particularly harsh with Aika because she believes there is potential in her, and Aika admits that it is only due to Akira's strictness and honesty that she has become a good undine.[28]
Akira and Alicia are childhood friends, and their relationship mirrors Aika and Akari's, though Alicia teases Akira far more than Akari does Aika. Akira still resents that Alicia became a Prima before her.[29] Upon Alicia's retirement at the end of the series, Akira becomes the undisputed top undine in Neo-Venezia.
Ayumi K. Jasmine (アユミ·K·ジャスミン?) Voiced by: Ryōko Shiraishi[30]
Ayumi is a cheerful Single for Himeya Company, who often works as a traghetto rower with Atora and Anzu from Orange Planet. Unlike many undines, Ayumi doesn't plan to become a Prima because she wants to specialize on the traghetto, which gets her involved with the city and its people as well as lets her make money.

Orange Planet

Supporting cast as they appear in the anime: from left to right, in front President Aria, Mr. Postman, President Hime, Ai, Alicia, and Al; in back "Grandma" Akino, Akira, Athena, Akatsuki, and Woody

Orange Planet is the largest water-guide company in Neo-Venezia, employing 81 undines (including 20 Primas). Its uniforms are lined with yellow, and its president is Maa.

Alice Carroll (アリス·キャロル Arisu Kyaroru?) Voiced by: Ryō Hirohashi[9]
Alice is an undine for Orange Planet. She first appears (in volume 3 of Aria/episode 3 of Aria the Animation) as a standoffish, detached girl of 14.[31] Aika later describes her as anti-social and complains about her tendency put on a grim face and speak in a quiet voice. Alice speaks in a deadpan manner, though she frequently uses dekkai (でっかい?, literally, "huge") as an intensifier. Although initially only a Pair, her rowing already surpasses both Aika and Akari's—for which skill she was scouted by Orange Planet despite her young age.[32] Despite working for rival companies, Alice, Akari, and Aika often practice together, and Alice sincerely enjoys the others' company, though this does not stop her from telling them to be quiet when they argue. Because of her age and lower status, Aika often addresses her as "kōhai-chan" (後輩ちゃん?, "junior" said in a friendly manner). Through her friendship with Akari and Aika, Alice lightens up as the series progresses, though she still struggling with her detachment.[33]
For a long time, Alice is not confident in singing skills, until Athena advises her simply enjoy what she sings and not worry about her performance. In volume 11 of Aria, Alice graduates from middle school. She is later promoted to Prima straight from Pair, the first undine to do so, and is given the title "Orange Princess" (黄昏の姫君 Tasogare no Himegimi?, lit. "Twilight Princess"). Her name comes from Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland.
Athena Glory (アテナ·グローリィ Atena Gurōrī?) Voiced by: Tomoko Kawakami[9]
One of Neo-Venezia's Three Water Fairies, known by the title "Siren" (天上の謳声 Tenjō no Utagoe?, lit. "Heavenly Voice") for her beautiful singing voice. She is Alice's mentor at Orange Planet. She is quiet most of the time and often appears to be an airhead who does not pay attention to her surroundings (in the anime, she is shown more than once forgetting to duck while rowing under a bridge), but she genuinely cares about Alice. Athena has a strange laugh that comes out sounding as though she is angry. She was a trainee undine with Alicia and Akira, and joined them in joint practice sessions much like Akari, Aika, and Alice do now. At the conclusion of the series, Athena semi-retires from being an undine in order to debut as an opera singer.
Atora Monteverdi (アトーラ·モンテヴェルディ?) Voiced by: Houko Kuwashima[34]
Atora is a Single for Orange Planet and often works as a traghetto rower with Anzu as well as Ayumi from Himeya Company. Atora took the Prima exam once, but did not pass and became too discouraged to try again. After meeting Akari during her stint on the traghetto, she decides to train harder to retake the exam.
Anzu Yumeno (夢野 杏 Yumeno Anzu?) Voiced by: Kana Asumi[35]
Anzu is a Single for Orange Planet and often works as a traghetto rower with Atora as well as Ayumi from Himeya Company. Although Anzu has failed her Prima exam several times, she continues to work hard at it and is determined to become a Prima.

Cats

Because blue-eyed cats are considered lucky on Aqua, all undine companies have a blue-eyed cat as a mascot, who is given the title President.[36] Cats on Aqua have been bred to be as intelligent as humans, though they cannot speak.[37]

President Aria Pokoteng (アリア·ポコテン Aria Pokoten?) Voiced by: Chinami Nishimura[9]
President and namesake of Aria Company, and an Aqua cat. Aria is large and fat, massing 10 kg.[38] He is attracted to President Hime, who does not appear to reciprocate his sentiments; his pursuit of her is a common comic relief scene.
President Hime M. Granzchesta (ヒメ·M·グランチェスタ?) Voiced by: Kaori Mizuhashi[39]
President of Himeya Company, a small, delicate, black female cat from Manhome.[40] "Hime" means princess in Japanese.
President Maa (まぁ?) Voiced by: Akeno Watanabe[41]
President of Orange Planet, an Aqua kitten with very tiny blue eyes.[42] Alice calls her "Maa-kun" after her unusual meow.[43] Maa often bites President Aria's belly. The volume 8, Special Navigation, reveals that Maa is a female cat and much attracted to President Aria.
Cait Sith (猫妖精 Kyeto Shii?)
A very large cat with mysterious powers, said to be Cat Sìth from Scottish folklore. He has been the king of the cat kingdom in Aqua for at least 100 years. In the anime Alicia and Akari suggest that he is the spiritual guardian of Aqua.

Other characters

Akatsuki Izumo (出雲 暁 Izumo Akatsuki?) Voiced by: Hirofumi Nojima[17]
Akari's first customer as a Single. He is a tall, impatient young man who calls Akari "Sideburns" (momiko) to tease her.[44] He works as an apprentice Salamander, someone who helps maintain Aqua's climate in the floating buildings that are tethered overhead. Although drawn like a typical bishōnen, his constant scowl combined with a loose-fitting robe usually cover up his more "attractive" features, which he rarely displays. Akatsuki has an older brother who teases him to the point of rage.
Akatsuki is not on the ground often, so every visit to the surface is an adventure for him. He claims to be in love with Alicia,[45] though Alicia and his older brother suggest that he is really attracted to Akari.[46] In any case, every visit to Neo-Venezia, no matter his official reason, he spends most of his time with Akari.
Udo Ayanokohji the 51st (綾小路宇土51世?) Voiced by: Yuji Ueda[47][48]
More commonly known as "Woody." Woody is a Sylph who delivers packages and other goods to people in Neo-Venezia. He has a bad sense of direction and cannot navigate without a map.[49] His physique is well-built, and he is usually seen wearing goggles. He was childhood friends with both Akatsuki and Al.
Albert "Al" Pitt (アルバート·ピット Arubāto Pitto?) Voiced by: Akeno Watanabe[50]
Al is a Gnome, a person who lives underground regulating the Aqua's gravity so that it is the same as Manhome's.[51] Gnomes rarely come to the surface except to shop. He looks younger than Akari and Aika, but is actually three years older.
Namihei Anno (庵野波平 Anno Namihei?) / Mr. Postman (郵便屋さん Yūbin'ya-san?) Voiced by: Motomu Kiyokawa[47][48]
An elderly mailman in Neo-Venezia, called Mailman-san or Mr. Postman by Akari. He is the first person that Akari meets after arriving on Aqua. He is a kind man who is devoted to his work and his younger co-workers. Akari does not learn his name until near the end of the series, when he hires her for a gondola ride after retiring from his job.

Another Specialist Prediction

-Preparing for the Kage Summit

(The Scene starts at Konoha, in Danzou’s Hut.)

“Lord Danzou, the location of the Kage Summit is at the Fire Country’s Daimyou headquarters,” said Anbu Servant 1.

“A suitable meeting place, considering the Land of Fire is surrounded by the other great Shinobi Nations on all sides. It makes it more convenient for all parties,” said Danzou.

“What about Uzumaki, surely once you leave the village, he is free to roam, he’s not one to be restrained,” said Anbu Servant 2.

(Sai comes in, interrupting the meeting.)

“Sai here, reporting for next objective,” said Sai. “Good. Now, what has Naruto gotten himself into? Explain to me of his next plans,” said Danzou.

“Nothing, he said nothing,” said Sai. “Hmm, oh really,” said Danzou. (Danzou makes a hand seal; all of a sudden Sai falls straight down on the floor and starts to shake uncontrollably.)

“You’ve never lied to me before, why the certain change? I can monitor the chakra waves of your body through this hand seal, your previous words states otherwise with your claim. Has this Naruto gotten to you too,” asked Danzou. “ARRGHH, he said nothing,” groaned Sai. “You do know that the seal in your mouth may hide secrets from the enemy however, from me I am able to probe information out of you. That’s one of the secrets behind my jutsu,” said Danzou.

“ARRGHH,” grunted Sai. (Sai has flash backs of team 7.) “Looks like you want things the hard way,” said Danzou. (He makes another hand seal, and all of a sudden, Sai spills his guts.)

“Naruto is planning to assist the Cloud ninja in recovering their master, a host that was captured by Uchiha Sasuke. Right now, he is releasing information about Akatuski and Sasuke to them, so they can form a joined platoon and execute their next objective” said Sai. (Danzou releases the jutsu.)

“Hmm, so he thinks he can just evade my watch. Sai, you will accompany me as an escort to the Kage Summit. Get your equipment ready,” said Danzou.

(Sai rubs his throat to ease the pain.)

“Yes your honor,” said Sai. “And since you enjoy backing up for Naruto. That is exactly what you will be doing. Your friend will now be your fellow partner in escorting me to the Kage Summit. This is an important mission, an S-Ranked Mission. If everything goes smoothly, it will make your record sheets look even more impressive,” said Danzou.

“Understood, moving out,” said Sai. (He leaves to get his gear together.)

“You two, stop Naruto from leaving the village at all costs. I could careless if it takes an entire squad of you to persuade him. It works out better this way, now I can monitor him at all times,” said Danzou.

(Switch Scene Switches to Naruto, Karui and Omoi. They’re in Naruto’s armory room in his house.)

“So, this Sasuke uses lightning elemental ninjutsu,” said Karui. “The way you explain make him sound similar to how Killer Bee channels chakra into his blades,” said Omoi.

“He moves very fast as well. At first I wasn’t sure if I could keep up with him. Also, given that he was part of the Uchiha Clan, he also has a liking for fire elemental ninjutsu. But, we shouldn’t concern ourselves with that right now. We need to go looking for your master,” said Naruto.

“True that,” said Omoi. (Naruto puts on a cloak, similar to the one he wore when he defeated Pain. He then picks up a scroll and puts it on.)

“Are you ready,” asked Karui.

“Just about; these are Akatuski we are dealing with, I’d doubt they’d just let us walk in and save him,” said Naruto.

“What else do you know about Akatuski,” asked Karui. “I’ve taken out Pain, who I thought was to be a leader, but I’ve heard there is a guy above him. I’ve also defeated a guy called Kakuzu,” said Naruto.

“You must be very accomplished to be able to do something like that, but who is this man behind him,” asked Omoi.

“I’m not really sure. I know he has a mask and all of our ninjutsu just passes right through him. (Karui and Omoi are shocked.) He’s the most dangerous of them all I guess,” said Naruto.

“Anything about their plans,” asked Karui. “I just know what I’ve been told. Akatuski is gathering up all the hosts, and it is said that an entire shinobi country could be wiped out in a second with a kinjutsu using all the beasts’ power. I don’t know what they plan to use it for, but its definitely bad news,” said Naruto.

“To think they’d do something like that,” said Karui. “No wonder such a shady organization gets so much bad rep,” said Omoi.

“Then there’s this plant looking guy, who appeared out of no where. I don’t know anything about him besides that he’s a scout, that’s all I pulled from the book on him. Finally, there’s this guy who carries a huge sword. I think his name was Kisame, he was once part of a group that this one guy my squad took care of. Seven mists swordsmen. His blade absorbs chakra,” said Naruto.

“Nice intel. So tell me, is that all of them. I would assume there would be more,” said Karui. “Nah, my squad, and the rest of Konoha help put an end to Akatuski members. And Sasuke has also played his part. I got most of my information on the members from a book that had information about Akatuski in it,” said Naruto.

“You said Sasuke played his part, yet he is with Akatuski, what is up with that,” asked Omoi. “I don’t know. I have a feeling he was brainwashed. Still, it doesn’t justify what he did to you guys. We’ll get to the bottom of this though,” said Naruto.

“Are you ready,” asked Karui.

(Naruto produces two shadow clones they run to the corner and began gathering chakra.)

“Shadow clones? What for,” asked Omoi. “They help me balance natural energy,” said Naruto. “WHAT,” asked Omoi. “You guys aren’t Sages, you shouldn’t worry about it then,” said Naruto.

“OH, you think you are so cool cuz you an oversized scroll and a robe,” said Karui. “Yeah, our blades are way cooler. SEE, SEE,” yelled Omoi. (He pulls out his blade and starts swinging it around.)

“Careful Omoi, you might cut somebody,” said Karui. (Naruto grabs his bag, and they step outside, automatically Kakashi catches to up them.)

“Going after Sasuke anyway ehh,” asked Kakashi. “First things first though. I’m helping them go save their master,” said Naruto. “I’m so sorry Naruto. I didn’t want to believe it either, about Sasuke I mean. I know how you must feel, considering that you too are a host. Anyway, you do realize the seriousness of this action; leaving the village, going against the elders. I hope you are prepared for the consequences,” said Kakashi.

“I know. But I also know what it is like to lose my master. I don’t want anyone to go through that pain,” said Naruto. (Karui and Omoi start crying in the background.)

“He’s so noble,” sob Karui. “We are going to save you master, as long as we have this guy on our side,” sob Omoi.

“Huh. I guess there’s no stopping you. Heck, if it wasn’t for your reasons, we’d all be dead,” said Kakashi.

AKATSUKI (NARUTO)

Akatsuki (暁, Akatsuki? lit. “Dawn” or “Daybreak”) is a criminal organization composed of ten high-level ninja that have defected from their village of origin. The group receives little attention during the first part of the series, only becoming major antagonists in Part II. Akatsuki members are characterized by their long, dark cloaks bearing red clouds with a chin-high collar. Each also possesses a unique ring, which seems to symbolize one’s membership in the organization. Members are partnered together in teams of two, each team sticking together as they traverse the Naruto world. Despite this partnership, members tend to have a strained relationship with their peers, only cooperating enough to complete their assignments and showing little concern when another member is killed. Orochimaru defects from the organization before the start of the series, taking his ring with him, and thus Akatsuki never exceeds nine members during the current storyline.

Akatsuki was founded by Madara Uchiha after he was expelled from his hometown of Konohagakure. Though initially meant only to mask Madara’s movements, Akatsuki eventually began taking part in assassinations and espionage. By the start of the current storyline, Akatsuki’s ambitions grow to plans of world domination. To mark this more dynamic goal, Akatsuki increases its activity throughout the series as it attempts to capture the nine powerful tailed beasts. Each member is assigned to capture a specific beast or its current host, at which point Akatsuki convenes to extract the beast and seal it away for their grand plan. As the Akatsuki leader, Pain, explains it, once all nine beasts have been captured Akatsuki will be able to harness their great strength to start world wars at their leisure. With the world governments unable to deal with the beasts’ power, Akatsuki will be turned to for salvation, teaching the world the meaninglessness of fighting and giving Akatsuki complete control in the process. As of Naruto manga chapter 419, Akatsuki has captured seven of the tailed beasts.

ITACHI UCHIHA

Itachi Uchiha (うちは イタチ, Uchiha Itachi?) is a former ninja of Konohagakure and the partner of Kisame Hoshigaki. Though having spent his early youth as the kindly child prodigy of the Uchiha clan, Itachi is treated as a villain for much of the series. He is initially portrayed as being solely responsible for the slaughter of his entire clan and family, sparing only his brother, Sasuke Uchiha, with the explanation that he was testing his abilities. Around the time of his death his villainous role is downplayed; not only is he revealed to have had help from Madara Uchiha, in killing the clan, but he performed the massacre under the orders of Konoha’s leadership so as to prevent an Uchiha coup d’état. Though he was ordered to kill Sasuke as well, Itachi could not bring himself to do so, instead forcing Konoha to keep Sasuke safe or risk Itachi going public with his mission. For his part, Itachi accepts his role as a villain, never telling anyone of who else was involved and even encouraging Sasuke to grow strong enough to kill him and avenge their family.

Throughout the series Itachi attempts to avoid combat, seeking nonviolent solutions instead. If he is forced to battle he usually remains stationary, only acting in self-defense. From his idle position he studies an opponent’s movements with his Sharingan eyes, trapping them in illusions when opportune by merely pointing or looking at them. Itachi at times uses one of the three abilities of his Mangekyo Sharingan, though he tries to avoid doing so as it is taxing on his body and damages his eyesight. The first, Tsukuyomi (月読, Tsukuyomi?), allows him to torture opponents for what seems like days in a matter of moments. Amaterasu (天照, Amaterasu?), the second, generates black flames at his focal point that will continue to burn until the target is reduced to ash. The final ability, Susanoo (須佐能乎, Susanoo?), creates a massive ethereal warrior that fights on Itachi’s behalf and shields him from all attacks. Before he dies during his battle with Sasuke, Itachi implants his Amaterasu in Sasuke’s eyes, hoping that doing so will keep him safe from Madara Uchiha. In the Japanese anime, Itachi’s seiyū is Hideo Ishikawa. His first voice actor in the English anime was Skip Stellrecht, who voiced Itachi in episodes 29 and 30, but in all following appearances, he has been voiced by Crispin Freeman.

KISAME HOSHIGAKI

Kisame Hoshigaki (干柿 鬼鮫, Hoshigaki Kisame?) is a former ninja of Kirigakure and the partner of Itachi Uchiha. While most Akatsuki partners are hostile towards each other, Kisame and Itachi get along considerably well; Kisame does as Itachi asks of him unquestioningly and always looks out for Itachi’s well-being. While he was still loyal to Kirigakure, Kisame was one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, a group of violent ninja that use particularly large swords in battle. His sword, Samehada (鮫肌, Samehada? lit. “shark skin”), is covered in scales that can absorb untold amounts of an opponent’s chakra, and only allows Kisame to wield it. Kisame has a unique appearance, having pale blue skin, a gill-like facial structure, and sharp triangular teeth. These shark-like characteristics extend to his choice of attacks in battle, as he frequently shapes water into the forms of sharks to damage opponents. If there is no water nearby, Kisame can quickly produce his own lake to use at his leisure. His seiyū in the Japanese anime is Tomoyuki Dan, and his English voice actor is Kirk Thornton.

DEIDARA

Deidara (デイダラ, Deidara?) is a former ninja of Iwagakure, the Village Hidden Among Rocks. He tends to end his sentences with an audible grunt that is usually translated as “hmm”, “yeah”, or “un”. He acted as a terrorist bomber for hire before being forced to join Akatsuki by Itachi Uchiha. Though he came to embrace the organization, Deidara holds a grudge against Itachi and all Uchiha throughout the series, as he feels their Sharingan eyes look down on his abilities. Upon joining Akatsuki he is partnered with Sasori, who Deidara treats as his master due to his artistic expertise. Sasori is replaced by Tobi after his death, and Deidara assumes the master-position as Sasori had before him; although he still abuses Tobi when annoyed by him, he becomes more like Tobi’s teacher, and adopts a genuine care for his well-being. By consuming clay with mouths in his hands, Deidara is able to create his own form of art: sculptures that explode with varying intensities. Deidara’s creations can take any form he so chooses, and from the time of their creation to their detonation he can bring them to life and control them remotely. He is very confident in his art’s ability, such that he believes it cannot be defeated. When Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi’s younger brother, is able to systematically nullify and gain the advantage over his art, Deidara transforms himself into a living bomb in an effort to kill Sasuke and prove his art is supreme, but ultimately fails. His seiyū in the Japanese anime is Katsuhiko Kawamoto, and in the English adaptation, he is voiced by Quinton Flynn.

SASORI

Sasori (サソリ, Sasori?) is a former ninja of Sunagakure. His parents died when he was young, leaving him in the care of his grandmother, Chiyo. Lacking the love of parents, Sasori left Sunagakure when he got older and joined Akatsuki where he is initially partnered with Orochimaru. After Orochimaru’s defection Sasori teamed with Deidara, who looks to him and his artistic knowledge with reverence. Before leaving Sunagakure, Sasori was taught the art of puppetry by his grandmother, which he refined to fit his needs over the years. He eventually devised a way to convert the corpses of humans into puppets, allowing him to use any of the ninja abilities they possessed during their life for himself. In time he even converted his own body into a puppet, which gives him eternal life and allows him to control hundreds of puppets at once. Each weapon in his puppets’ extended arsenal is laced with a poison of Sasori’s design that causes extreme pain to the inflicted until they die. Sakura Haruno is able to create an antidote for Sasori’s poison, allowing her and Chiyo to fight him uninhibited. They eventually destroy his heart, the only part of his humanity he kept when converting himself to a puppet, resulting in his death. In the Japanese anime, Sasori has several seiyū for his different appearances: when he is controlling Hiruko, a scorpion-like puppet he wears like a suit, he is voiced by Yutaka Aoyama; when he is featured as a child, he is voiced as Akiko Yajima; and as an adult, he is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai.

ZETSU

Zetsu (ゼツ, Zetsu?) is the only member of Akatsuki to regularly act without a partner. This is in part a result of his ability to merge with any object and quickly travel to a new location, a feat few other ninja are capable of. Because of this ability Zetsu serves a variety of different positions in Akatsuki, such as a spy that observes and reports on battles of interest or a lookout during Akatsuki’s meetings. Being cannibalistic, he is often sent to dispose of bodies Akatsuki does not want found, mirroring the large venus flytrap that envelops his body. Zetsu’s body is split into two different colors, his right side being black and his left being white. Similarly, the two sides have their own personalities and knowledge bases, frequently leading to discussions and arguments between the two. The black half speaks in katakana in the Japanese manga, and white speaks kanji and kana. In the Japanese anime, Zetsu’s seiyū is Nobuo Tobita, and in the English adaptation, Zetsu has two voice actors: the black half is voiced by Michael Sorich and the white half is voiced by Brian Beacock.

HIDAN

Hidan (飛段, Hidan?) is the immortal, foul-mouthed partner of Kakuzu and a former ninja of Yugakure, the Village Hidden in the Steam. He is a member of the Jashin (ジャシン, Jashin? lit. “evil god”) religion, a religion that worships a deity of the same name and where anything less than death and utter destruction is considered a sin. His religion’s experimentations have led to the creation of his unique abilities; by consuming an opponent’s blood and then drawing Jashin’s triangular-design on the ground, Hidan can create a voodoo doll-like link with his opponent. Once this link is created, any damage done to Hidan’s body is reflected on his opponent, allowing him to kill them by giving himself fatal injuries. Because he is immortal, Hidan is not impaired while doing this, instead finding pleasure in the pain it causes him. After Hidan uses this ability to kill Asuma Sarutobi, Shikamaru Nara fights him to avenge his teacher. Their battle culminates in Hidan being blown up, and Shikamaru buries his still-speaking remains in a place Akatsuki will never be able to reach. As such, Hidan is no longer considered a member by the rest of Akatsuki. In the Japanese anime, Hidan’s seiyū is Masaki Terasoma.

KAKUZU

Kakuzu (角都, Kakuzu?) is the partner of Hidan and a former ninja of Takigakure, the Village Hidden in a Waterfall. He has a deep love for money, and uses his membership in Akatsuki as a means to seek out valuable bounties. Because money is the only thing he relies on, Kakuzu dislikes needing to be partnered with someone in Akatsuki. He has killed all of his previous partners in fits of rage, and thus was paired with the immortal Hidan so he wouldn’t need to keep finding a replacement. Kakuzu’s body is composed of large amounts of black threads, allowing him to sew things (such as Hidan’s dismembered body parts) back together. The threads are also capable of piercing flesh, which Kakuzu uses to remove the still-beating hearts of his opponents for his personal use using a forbidden technique called Jiongu (地怨虞, Jiongu?). By integrating these healthier organs into his body he can escape death and extend his life indefinitely. He claims he has lived since the time of Hashirama Senju, Konoha’s first hokage. He can store up to four spare hearts in animal masks that are sewn to his back. The masks can be detached during combat situations to shoot elemental blasts at his opponents, and can quickly be recalled to his body if he needs their heart. Kakuzu’s hearts are systematically destroyed soon after his introduction by a group of Konohagakure ninja. After Naruto Uzumaki leaves his final heart on the brink of failure, Kakuzu is easily finished off by Kakashi Hatake. In the Japanese anime, Kakuzu’s seiyū is Takaya Hashi.

PAIN

Pain (ペイン, Pein?) is the leader of Akatsuki, the partner of Konan, and current ruler of Amegakure, having overthrown the previous government and attained a god-like status amongst its citizens. Pain appears in the form of six entirely different bodies that share the same mind, collectively known as The Six Paths of Pain (ペイン六道, Pein Rikudō?) and individually named after one of the six Buddhist paths of reincarnation. The only common physical characteristics amongst them are their orange hair color, a number of body piercings, and the Rinnegan (輪廻眼, Rinnegan? lit. “Samsara Eye”). The Rinnegan, a unique eye technique characterized by a number of concentric circles around the pupil, allows the wielder to utilize any ninja ability.[86] Pain uses it to share visual information amongst all six bodies, or “Paths”, giving them the ability to coordinate offense and defense as if they were a single entity. Each Path possesses a unique skill. For instance, the Animal Path can summon a wide array of creatures, and the Preta Path is able to devour attacks as a form of defense.

When first meeting Pain, Jiraiya assumes the entity to have once been Nagato (長門, Nagato?), an Amegakure orphan he trained in the past. Though Nagato was the first possessor of the Rinnegan that he encountered and Pain refers to him as sensei, Jiraiya begins to doubt this initial assumption when he sees Pain’s six bodies, with the Deva Path belonging to Nagato’s fellow pupil, Yahiko (弥彦, Yahiko?). Realizing that all six bodies once belonged to ninja he encountered while wandering the Naruto world and that Nagato’s body is not among them, Jiraiya risks his life to learn the secret of Pain. He succeeds and is able to send the Animal Path, along with a coded message reading, “the real one isn’t with them” or, in an alternative reading of the statement, “there is no real one” to Konohagakure, though he is killed in the process. Upon obtaining a body to replace the Animal Path, Pain sets out for Konoha to capture the nine-tailed demon fox. In the Japanese anime, Pain’s seiyū is Ken’yū Horiuchi.

KONAN

Konan (小南, Konan?) is the partner of the Akatsuki leader, Pain, and the only female ninja in Akatsuki. She was orphaned as a child by one of Amegakure’s many wars, forcing her to fend for herself until being found by Jiraiya. Jiraiya trained Konan to take advantage of her natural talent with origami, and as a result paper is a key component in her battle style. Konan can divide her body into countless numbers of paper sheets, which she controls and reshapes remotely to scout out an area or form weapons for attack. She can even form wings that mirror her title as “God’s Angel” amongst the villagers of Amegakure, as she often carries out the will of “God” (Pain). Her abilities are constrained while wet, as paper clings to itself and loses its stiffness.

MADARA UCHIHA/TOBI

Madara Uchiha (うちは マダラ, Uchiha Madara?) is the founder of Akatsuki and the first possessor of the Mangekyo Sharingan, a rare form of the eye condition unique to the Uchiha. Though it gave him the strength needed to take control of the Uchiha clan, overuse of the Mangekyo Sharingan left him blind, and it was only by taking his own brother’s eyes that he was able to regain his sight. Madara eventually banded together with Hashirama Senju to create Konohagakure. The two founders disagreed on who should lead their new village and after a momentous battle between the two it was believed that Madara had died. In later years the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konoha, an act Itachi Uchiha states to have been Madara’s doing, though Madara denies it. Once the fox was defeated by Minato Namikaze, Madara infiltrated Konoha in secret, trained Itachi, and subsequently assisted him in assassinating the Uchiha clan. Kisame Hoshigaki, upon seeing his face, recognizes him as the Mizukage.

Much of Madara’s role in the series has been under the disguise of Tobi (トビ, Tobi?), who replaces Sasori in Akatsuki after his death. While acting as Tobi he is carefree and goofy as opposed to Madara’s usual serious self. Tobi’s tendency to take credit for other’s work and undermine his superiors annoys his partner, Deidara, who either blows up or strangles him in comical fashion as punishment. After Deidara dies during a battle with Sasuke, the Tobi persona is discarded as Madara takes a special interest in Sasuke’s development. However, Madara has not completely outlived the use of his guise as he reassumes Tobi’s personality on occasion, such as while delaying a group of Konoha ninja.

Though Madara’s face as it appeared during Konoha’s founding has been shown in full at various points in the series, he always wears a mask in the current Naruto storyline. The mask features a swirl pattern focused around his right eye. His black hair (cut back from his earlier years) is the only constantly visible part of his face. When asked how Madara could have survived since Konoha’s founding, Itachi Uchiha states that Madara is immortal. The specifics of his immortality have yet to be touched upon, though Madara implies the potency of his chakra has something to do with it. In battle he has been shown capable of making his body intangible, leaving him visible but otherwise impervious to most forms of damage. He can also teleport over great distances at will. In the Japanese anime, the seiyū for Tobi is Wataru Takagi.
